The care for couples who are planning a home birth usually comes in a package with support through pregnancy, the postnatal phase and breastfeeding.

What else can I do for you?

Most midwives, I think, have one or more specialities in the alternative spectrum of medicine or bodywork. So have I. All basic midwifery services are usually covered by the public health insurance plan. Private insurances are meant to pay all basic maternity services as well. Offers which are more on the alternative side of the spectrum might have to be covered privately. Please ask, so we can discuss it.

  • Labour and Birth

    My main professional focus is labour and birth care. I have worked in birth centres in the past. Currently I'm offering homebirths and hospital births (as a "Beleghebamme") for people who cannot birth at home.

  • Bodywork and Somatics

    I offer massages in pregnancy and postnatal. Also, I do Sexological Bodywork, which is fantastic to accompany all transformational processes around body identity, birth experiences, trauma and everything related to sexuality. You can find out more below or here...

  • Traditional Chinese Medicine

    I make use of millenary oriental wisdom, mainly, but not only, of Traditional Chinese Medicine with acupuncture and similar techniques.

  • Evidence-based practice

    I have studied midwifery in Cambridge, UK. As an academic midwife, I care about well-done research and keep practice updated according to the best available evidence.

  • Multilingual support

    I love learning new languages. The benefit of that is that I am currently attending in any of these languages: Deutsch, English, Español, Português, et Français.

  • My hood

    For home birth I cover most of the central parts of Berlin. My post-natal region, however, is more restricted to Prenzlauer Berg, Wedding, Mitte, Pankow, Weißensee, and parts of Friedrichshain.
